Help : Reports : Interactive

The interactive reports index page (Reports>Interactive) lists all of the interactive reports that are currently defined. An interactive, or ad-hoc, report will prompt for parameters before it can generate results. For example, a server name must be provided in order to run a Server Profile report.

By default, the following interactive reports are defined:

Host

  • Profile Client Characterize services consumed by a client.
  • Profile Server Characterize services provided by a server.
  • Service Profile Identify servers, clients and trend for a service.
  • Top Clients of a Server Identify the largest clients of a server.

Link

  • Link Utilization Trend utilization for a specified link.
  • WAN Link Utilization Trend utilization for a specified WAN link.

Security

  • Port Scan Identify hosts scanning addresses.
  • Remote-access Identify non-local hosts accessing local servers.

Web

  • Local Clients Identify local clients accessing remote web server.
  • Remote Web Servers Identify remote web servers accessed by a local host.

In order to schedule an interactive report to run every day, you will need administrator priveledges. Click on the Server:Reports menu to run and schedule the interactive report.

New interactive reports can be defined by creating or editing an interactive report template file.
