Help : Server : Configure

The following steps are needed to properly configure a Traffic Server:

1. Construct a configuration file for your site using a text editor on your PC. This file needs to be saved in plain text (do not store it as a Word document!).
2. Connect to the Traffic Server using your web browser.
3. Click on the Server button at the top of the page.
4. Provide the administrator user and password.
5. Click on the Configure button on the left of the page.
6. Click on the Browse button and select the configuration file you created in step 1.
7. Click on the Submit button to upload your configuration file.
8. Wait until your configuration file is displayed. If any errors are detected, they will be indicated on the page, and the configuration change will not take effect.
