The buttons provide basic server control operations.

Data Collection Processes

• Stop Stops the data collection processes, releasing all the agents so that they can be used by other management systems. The process of releasing agents can take some time. By looking at the Performance page you can monitor the release by watching the Interfaces count drop to zero. Check the Status page to confirm that the processes have stopped.
• Start Start the data collection processes.
• Restart Restart the data collection processes.

Web Server

• Restart Restart the web-based user interface.

Traffic Server

• Reboot Reboot the Traffic Server box.
• Poweroff Shut down the server
  (WARNING: Powering off the server will mean that someone will need to go to the server box to switch it back on.)

Discovery

• Restart Initiate an auto discovery sweep.
• Submit Discovery a specific agent.
