Subject: Linking HP ProCurve web-based interface to InMon Traffic Server

InMon Traffic Server already provides links to web-based management
interfaces in the switches it monitors. In the case of HP ProCurve switches,
it is also possible to set up a link back to the Traffic Server that
provides access to the switch's traffic.

    Here are the steps:
    1. Access the switch's web interface.
    2. Click on the Configuration tab.
    3. Click on the Support/Mgmt URLs button.
    4. Change the support URL to:
       http:// server>/its/query/Monitor?agent=<switch ip>
    5. Click on Apply Changes.

Next time you connect to the switch and click on the Support tab, you will
see the location of the switch, traffic status, administrative status, speed
and type of each port and the names of the hosts connected to the ports.
Clicking on ports will display charts of top talkers, interface stats etc.
Clicking on a host lets you identify the services it provides and the peers
    it communicates with.

Note: The change doesn't seem to take effect immediately (probably because
the old value remains cached in the java applets). You may need to close
your web browse and open a new one in order to see the results.

Most elements of the Traffic Server interface are addressable via their own
URL's. This makes it easy to integrate traffic information with other
    web-based applications.
