    Neil,

    When will the 1.2.19 bits be available.

    Joe,

    Yes it is possible to do this - there are some (hitherto) undocumented
    parameters that you can give to the top-talkers applet. I would advise,
    however, that in older versions these are sometimes working and sometimes
    not working. If you upgrade to version 1.2.19 (and restart your browser,
    and connect to your traffic server without going through a web cache) then
    these should all do something...

    If you bring up the URL (e.g. by clicking right button in the white space
    below the chart, selecting "add to favourites" and then visiting that saved
    bookmark) then you can edit it directly to add parameters such as the
    following:

    &capacity=120&groupingInterval=300&resultTruncate=10&chartHeight=600&chartWi
    dth=900

    capacity=<intervals>
    increase the number of minutes shown at once

    groupingInterval=<seconds>
    set the time period for each bar (e.g. 300 = 5-minutes per bar)

    resultTruncate=<topN>
    set the number of flows to show - often used with....

    chartHeight=<pixels>
    set the height of the applet in pixels

    chartWidth=<pixels>
    set the width of the applet in pixels

    In some cases, you may even want to make the applet much smaller so that you
    can include several of them on one web page. It may then make sense to add
    the parameter:

    legend=false
    disable the legend - just show the chart.

    Creating your own web page and adding several charts to it is easier than it
    sounds. Just select "View->Page Source" on your browser and you will see
    how the applet is invoked. Attached is an example of a web page that I
    created this evening with two small applets on it.

    regards,
    neil

    Hello,
         Is it possible to monitor something like Top Pairs for a given Host,
    but to change the time scale to more than 1 hour? It would be perfectly
    acceptable to see things in more than 1 minute samples if I could see a
    broader time view on the Top Pairs or Top Connections graphs. If anyone has
    ever used HP's PerfView to look at MeasureWare data you'll know what I mean.

    In PV I can trade data resolution for a larger time sweep.

    Thanks,

    joe

    P.S. - I was able to massage the URL for a given host Top Pairs graph to
    display more than 1 hour of 1 minute samples, but couldn't seem to change
    the resolution of the data samples.
