Separate to Inmon, I created a script which runs as a honeypot on a linux
box. It listens on port 135, and when an infected computer connects to it,
it finds their NetBIOS name sends them a windows messenger popup saying
their machine is infected, and then emails the system administrator with
their ip address, NetBIOS name, and mac address.

If you want a copy, let me know.
