InMon Community,

I feel that I should share my opinions regarding InMon's on-site
training. I know Les has mentioned this in a message several months ago,
but I feel this deserves it's own visible thread.

Sonia came on-site last week for three days of training, and that is the
best use of training funds that I have seen in LONG, LONG time. She was
happy to accommodate all our requests and idiosyncrasies. She knows the
product well enough to skip the typical examples and do queries that
answered our specific questions. I believe it takes a lot to come into a
site, read their configuration, and produce a very focused session that is
very applicable to that particular implementation. She even helped
troubleshoot some network problems that happened while we were training.

In three day's time Sonia transformed our group so that I am no longer the
sole Traffic Server guy, and we now have six other NOC programmers that
know the product well enough do everything that I did previously. The
training was thorough enough that I added all the programmers to the admin
list to make changes and help with development efforts.

There were many times I sat in the back thinking "oops, I should have done
it that way!". During the training I made several changes to the
configuration and did an upgrade. Traffic Server has been running even
better as a result.

I think highly of InMon's training and support. They truly seem to want
you to be happy and productive with their tools. I am happy to answer
questions regarding my experience.
