Mike,
You don't need to configure sflow manually on the 2800 series and in
fact there is no way to set it up except via SNMP. The traffic server
will set these up for sflow as soon as it discovers them via SNMP. PCM
will also do this.
The important thing is to get the SNMP communities working right because
the Traffic Server needs to be in the authorized manager(s) list and
have the unrestricted (R/W) Manager level community string.
Hope this helps,
Nick

Subject: [traffic-management] Enabling sFlow on HP 2800-series switches
Hi,
is anybody using the sFlow capability of HP 2824/48 switches? If so, I'd
be grateful for any information about how to actually enable and
configure sFlow on these devices. There seems to be no information
available on the HP web site and HP themselves were unable to
successfully demonstrate how to do this...
Thanks in advance,
