Hello mailing list subscribers,
We currently have a script provided by Inmon that provides us with BGP
accounting including AS,AS description and the total Bytes to and through
that AS during the interval requested. To _and_ through the AS is a very
important detail and requirement of this report.
What we want to do is modify this report to meet the following requirements:
1) Can be scheduled to run every hour, every day and every week and provide
the information only for the previous hour, day and week
2) Provides the following columns:
- AS
- AS Description
- MB Total
- MB/s
Naturally the MB/s would be based on the interval chosen so this must be
figured into the calculation somehow although rate(bytes) doesn't seem to do
anything when added to the select statement.
Attached is the current and original script we are using. If anyone can
recommend what changes need to be made to achieve the above it would be very
helpful. I've been beating my head against the wall for a few days now
trying things every which way and reading and re-reading the tutorials and
help information. We used to use the reporting functionality in the Traffic
Server v4 with perl and I was able to calculate this information quite
seemlessly. I'm a perl person and javascript is still foreign to me. I'm
more than sure that this ineptitude with javascript has a lot to do with my
frustration.
We are currently using Traffic Sentinel 1.0.52 (FC4_94).
