Peter Phaal, President
A co-founder, Peter has ten years experience in the field of network management. Before InMon, Peter worked at Hewlett-Packard Laboratories. He is the original inventor of Hewlett-Packard's Extended RMON technology. His book , "LAN Traffic Management," describes the techniques of monitoring and managing traffic on local area networks. More recently Peter invented key technologies in use in Hewlett-Packard's Web Quality of Service (WebQoS) products.
Neil McKee, Vice President and Chief Technical Officer
As co-founder, Neil has ten years experience in the field of network management. Before InMon, he was a consultant, most recently helping to architect a distributed ATM monitoring system. Prior to that Neil was a director of a company producing logistics management software. Neil previously worked at Hewlett-Packard Laboratories researching and developing distributed network monitoring systems.
Sonia Panchen, Vice President
Sonia has ten years of software development and management experience in the networking field. Prior to InMon, she was Director of Software Development for a wireless networking startup, where she built and ran the software engineering team developing embedded software and associated network management applications for last-mile wireless access products. Prior to that Sonia worked at Hewlett-Packard in various positions including: R&D manager for HP's high-end color LaserJets, JetDirect EIO cards, network management for HP's network devices, and network monitoring and management research at HP Laboratories.
